Crystal Arc has worked with Emirates for nearly a decade. This long-standing relationship has been shaped by an understanding of what the brand represents on a global stage. Over time, our work with Emirates naturally extended across different domains, including corporate gifting, commemorative pieces, and recognition items.
Designing a Corporate Gift for a Global Airline
Each piece is designed with a clear purpose, with variations in size, quantity, materials, base design, and colour depending on the client’s brief. All projects are locally produced at Crystal Arc’s 200,000 sq ft in-house manufacturing facility, including custom packaging tailored to each piece.

The Piece: A Crystal A380, Rendered as an Object
This particular project led to the creation of a crystal aircraft model, developed as a physical interpretation of Emirates’ identity. The design prioritised proportion and realism, treating the aircraft as a precision object, much like the engineering it represents.A custom velvet presentation box was developed to suit the scale and finish of the model, ensuring the first interaction with the piece reflected the craftsmanship within.
Multiple internal quality checks were conducted throughout production, with final inspections completed prior to presentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and finish.
As shown, the aircraft was crafted entirely in crystal and mounted on a structured base designed to anchor the piece while allowing the model to feel elevated and in motion. Through careful attention to detail, the team was able to provide accurate weight distribution and scale to ensure the piece felt grounded yet dyna,ic when viewed from any angle.
Cutting, Sandblasting and Hand-Polishing the Crystal
The piece progressed through a fully in-house process that combined technical precision with hand-finishing expertise. Production stages included cutting, grinding, sandblasting, engraving, and hand polishing, with each stage refining both form and surface.
Windows and surface transitions were sandblasted to define depth, while precision engraving with subtle colour infill ensured legibility without visual noise. Every surface was polished by hand to achieve uniform clarity and light transmission.
The Velvet Presentation Box
At Crystal Arc, we believe in presentation an extension of the piece itself. A custom velvet presentation box was developed to suit the scale and finish of the model, ensuring the first interaction with the piece reflected the craftsmanship within.
