Designing Custom Trophies for Ceremonial Use
All Dubai Police projects are designed and produced fully in-house at Crystal Arc, from concept development through to final presentation. This integrated process ensures control over form, finish, accuracy, and timeless, essential qualities for institutional work governed by formal approvals and ceremonial standards.
The Piece: A Sculptural Form in Police Identity
This particular project features a resin helmet sculpture, mounted on a structured presentation base bearing the Dubai Police symbol. The helmet form was developed as a symbolic object representing protection, authority, and service, expressed through restrained geometry and controlled detailing rather than ornamentation.
Material selection was driven by the need for precision shaping, surface consistency, and durability, allowing the form to maintain clarity and visual strength while meeting presentation requirements for official ceremonies.
Moulding, Finishing and Graphic Accuracy
The resin helmet progressed through a controlled in-house process combining moulding, surface refinement, detailing, and hand finishing. Particular attention was given to surface transitions and edge definition to ensure clarity without excessive reflectivity. Colour detailing and insignia placement were executed with restraint to preserve institutional formality and visual balance.
Presentation and Final Inspection
For projects of this nature, quality control is continuous. Multiple internal checks were conducted throughout production, with final inspections completed prior to presentation. Proportion, surface integrity, base alignment, and graphic accuracy were all reviewed to ensure the final piece met ceremonial, institutional, and reputational standards.
