Crystal Arc partnered with Saudia Cargo to devleop a bespoke piece that translated this operational identity into a detailed, aviation-led sculptural form.
Designing a Liveried Aircraft Model
The featured piece was developed as a transparent aircraft model, directly reflecting the Saudia Cargo fleet. Rather than abstracting aviation themes, the design focused on structural accuracy and dimensional clarity.
The fuselage was executed in high-clarity mateiral to reveal internal cargo elements, symbolising logistics flow and transport capacity. Distinct coloured freight units were embedded within the aircraft body, reinforcing narrative depth while preserving architectural clarity.
The aircraft rests on a clean, branded base finished in the company’s signature green, ensuring immediate visual alignment.
Livery, Scale and Accuracy
Smooth edge finishing, high-clarity fabrication, and controlled assembly were essential to maintaining transparency and structural integrity.
Weight distribution was carefully engineered across the wingspan to ensure balance and stability, reinforcing the object’s precision-led character.
Building and Painting the Model
The project was designed and produced fully in-house, encompassing fabrications, branding integration, finishing, and final inspection under strict quality standards.
