Institutional Context
The Ministry of Defense of Saudi Arabia represents one of the Kingdom’s most critical national institutions, responsible for safeguarding sovereignty, security, and strategic capability. As a government authority operating at the highest level of national responsibility, its commemorative and ceremonial pieces must reflect discipline, authority, and institutional gravitas.
Crystal Arc partnered with the Ministry of Defense to create a bespoke award aligned with the World Defense Show and Saudi Vision 2030, translating national identity into a refined sculptural form.
Designing for a Defence Institution
The featured piece was developed in the silhouette of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, immediately establishing territorial identity and national presence. Executed in a polished gold finish, the form communicates strength, prestige, and sovereignty.
The Ministry of Defense emblem and World Defense Show insignia were integrated with precision, maintaining clarity without overwhelming the composition. The inclusion of Vision 2030 branding reinforced alignment with the Kingdom’s long-term strategic transformation and defense modernization agenda.
Gold, Restraint and Institutional Gravity
The trophy rests on a solid wooden base, introducing warmth and stability beneath the gold surface. This contrast between polished metallic form and grounded base ensures visual balance while enhancing ceremonial weight.
Proportion and scale were carefully engineered so the piece carried authority in display and substance in hand, reinforcing its role as a formal government recognition object rather than a decorative token.
Fabrication and Final Inspection
Material execution and craftsmanship were central to delivery. High-polish finishing, sharp edge refinement, and precise engraving ensured institutional clarity and presentation-level excellence. Every surface was inspected to maintain consistency appropriate for a ministry-level commission.
Designed and produced fully in-house at Crystal Arc, the project encompassed fabrication, finishing, branding integration, and final quality control under strict standards.
