Designing a Regional Excellence Award
The featured piece was developed as a disciplined gold sculptural form, designed to feel both monumental while maintaining structural restraint. The upper plane carries raised Arabic calligraphy was integrated directly into the architecture of the piece, reinforcing authenticity and cultural grounding.
Controlled faceting and subtle geometric transitions introduce movement within a stable silhouette, balancing contemporary execution with cultural heritage.
Gold Form and Institutional Weight
A polished gold finish was selected to communicate prestige and authority. Sharp edge refinement and smooth surface transitions ensure clarity across planes.
The compact base was proportioned to provide weight and stability during formal presentation, reinforcing ceremonial gravitas. Every contour was engineered to respond cleantly to light, enhancing the dimensional depth of calligraphy upper section.
Forming, Plating and Finishing
Designed and produced entirely in-house, the project included metal fabrication, finishing, engraving, and inspection under strict government-level standards.
