Maersk is one of the world’s largest integrated logistics and container shipping companies, operating across oceans, ports, and global supply chains. Its recognition pieces must reflect movement, infrastructure, and operational reliability.
Crystal Arc partnered with Maersk to develop a bespoke award aligned with the company’s sustainability vision and service culture.
Designing a Vessel in Miniature
The sculptural composition was inspired directly by container shipping operations. A stylised vessel form is layered with stacked container elements, reinforcing Maersk’s core industry identity.
Above the vessel rises a sail-shaped crystal panel symbolising navigation, momentum, and strategic direction. Integrated branding, including the phrase “All The Way to Zero,” reflects Maersk’s commitment to decarbonisation and environmental progress.
Colour Accuracy and Vessel Detail
Clear crystal introduces transparency and elevation, while the blue structural base aligns with Maersk’s corporate identity. Detailed container graphics and crisp typography were integrated carefully to maintain brand clarity without disrupting the sculptural composition.
Controlled colour application and layered glass elements create depth while preserving professional refinement.
Building, Branding and Finishing
The project was produced entirely in-house at Crystal Arc, including fabrication, UV printing, finishing, and final quality control.
A Gift Marking a Decarbonisation Milestone
The final piece reflects Maersk’s global logistics leadership and sustainability ambitions, while demonstrating Crystal Arc’s ability to translate infrastructure-driven industries into clean, brand-aligned recognition objects.
