Crystal Arc partnered on the Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF to create a trophy aligned with the event’s progressive identity.
Designing a Tennis Championship Trophy
The piece was developed as a dynamic sculptural form that communicates motion, tension, and elevation. A twisting polished metal ribbon rises from the base, symbolising athletic momentum and the continuous rotation inherent in professional tennis.
At its apex, a gold sphere represents the tennis ball at the moment of impact, creating a clear visual focal point. The contrast between reflective chrome and polished gold establishes hierarchy and reinforces themes of precision and control.
A translucent base integrates official branding while grounding the upward torque of the sculpture.
Mirror-Polished Metal and Sculptural Line
The chrome structure required meticulous surface refinement to maintain uninterrupted reflections across curved planes. The gold sphere was calibrated for weight and alignment to preserve structural integrity.
Proportion and stage visibility were engineered to ensure authority both in hand and under broadcast lighting.
Forming and Polishing the Metal
Fabrication, finishing, branding integration, and final quality control were completed entirely in-house under structured production oversight.
An ATP Trophy Made in Dubai
The final result is a contemporary tournament trophy that reflects the ATP’s global stature and Crystal Arc’s ability to translate competitive energy into disciplined sculptural form.
